    I deleted all my duplicate pictures using Visipic a duplicate images detecting Program. But when I want to the single pictures that were left , most of them don't open as the message is that this image is not open able. Now all me duplicates are gone and originals don't open. What can be the reason. Can someone suggest me any free software that is perfect and safe for detecting, keeping the best version and deleting the rest in bulk. Thanks

My friend is using the same firewall as mine ( Norton Internet Security ) but he was not having any problems same as mine .     Instead of POST it shows "loading ASUS express gate", shows the windows 7 splash screen and then reboots. I just installed the new ASUS motherboard and I've tried booting with the disk in. I can't disable it, there's no way to enter the BIOS and all I can choose is startup repair which is doing nothing. Scrap that, I pressed DEL and I can enter the BIOS. Disabling it doesn't do anything though

    My computer makes the 'usb device disconnect' noise whenever an ad pops up. I checked my audio sounds and everything seems fine. I even went as far as to set my computer back to factory settings and still there's the noise. Is this a good thing and my AVG anti-virus is just informing me? What the hell is going on? Please help.   • Open Question: How can I change how folders look in Windows 7?
    I've recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7, and I find it very difficult to navigate my numerous picture folders because of how they look now. In Windows XP, folders were grid based and easy to look at and organize, especially since I have custom folder icon pictures for each individual folder, so I don't have to read them. In Windows 7 (and Vista) folders are shown from a weird diagonal angle with tons of previews of pictures in the folder, and frankly, it's an eyesore and very difficult to navigate. What I love about XP is that I can quickly and easily browse all my folders with lightning speed because the distinct folder icons are unique because of the icons, and because of the fact that each folder is square shaped, not askew with ugly papers hanging out the sides. They say Windows 7 is supposes to be so much easier and user friendly, but I can't stand the sight of how the graphics look and the cluttered graphics actually make things harder for me. So, is it possible to make my folders look like they used to in the good old days? I'm running Windows 7 home premium if that helps.

    I have a five year old computer it meets the requirements for windows 7 and it works fine Sept for when I reboot my computer it runs through the bios as usual but won't boot up from the bios unless I press the F1 key then it boots to the desktop and all just fine .I put the same exact copy of the windows 7 disk on my friends computer and his boots no problem.Now I think and I am almost positive it is out dated bios but the bios has no update for it I tried everything including righting the bios manufacturer! Now I was wondering if there is some sort of software or something that would correct this problem .It's not a biggy problem but I like perfection with my computer equipment any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated P.S It is not the boot order I have made sure that it is set to boot from the hard drive first thank you any help greatly recognized.mike
